John Thompson is well known for his strong strategic thought process along with his leadership and operational skill set. These attributes along with his entrepreneurial sprit have been key to his success in growing the foundation of the businesses he has worked with and owned. After spending 12 years in the corporate world working for companies such as Pitney Bowes, GTE, and Network Associates Inc, he decided to partner with his wife to start KMT Creative Group. This business has grown from a design shop to a full-service, successful and award-winning advertising agency which works with clients in a variety of industries. His business savvy and creative thinking bring a unique perspective not only to the client’s marketing strategy but the entire business operation.

John’s commitment to his work is matched only by his commitment to his family and his passion for the outdoors. If he is not running from event to event with his wife and twin daughters, he is in the woods or on the water. He is the guy who not only loves to spend time pursuing game, but is obsessed with the science of the sport. His passion for the outdoors, combined with his business skill sets, have allowed him to serve on several boards and advisory committees for organizations such as SCI, Quality Deer Management Association, National Wild Turkey Federation, and Partners of the Cherokee National Forest.
