BrandAdventure is led by accomplished marketing and licensing executive Steve Boguski. He brings an incredible track record over his career including running his own firm for six years, led the marketing and licensing division for NASCAR, and spearheaded one of the most successful product launches in automotive aftermarket history. A Short list of experience:
- Created the business proposition and plan for Joe Gibbs Racing’s proprietary racing oil and developed a branded marketing platform to grow the business into a long term asset. In four years, Joe Gibbs Driven has gone from a “sheet of paper” to one of the top brands in performance lubricants.
- As Vice President of strategic and marketing for NASCAR, led the traditional licensing group to record royalties by focusing on helping licensees find better distribution for their products.
- Headed NASCAR’s automotive aftermarket licensing program turning a start-up program into one of the premier marketing programs in the automotive business.
- Oversaw development of NASCAR’s brand marketing group and first brand positioning leading to the award winning marketing campaign “How bad have you got it”.
- Developed the Purolator PureONE oil filter. Repositioned a category from declining margins to one that now is based on premium products and delivered incremental profit margin.
Steve was recognized as a “40 under 40” by the Charlotte Business Journal and is a frequent writer and speaker in the marketing industry. He has been featured or quoted in such publications as Brandweek, Adweek, License Magazine, USA Today, and numerous automotive and racing publications.
